I spent a good portion of my Sunday night in the local hospital ER with my sister who was being treated for a really bad bloody nose. As usual, while we wait to see a doctor, I just sit quietly with my sketch book and get some drawing done. This was the result. 🙂

Sometimes I feel like I get in a creative rut and one of the ways I use to try and break out of it is to sketch something on a pad of graph paper. In a weird way, it takes the “pressure” off of me to create something that I think is cool. I have to remind myself that I need to enjoy the journey and not be so overly focused on the results. It’s drawing, not brain surgery. 🙂
