My wife and I had our taxes done yesterday and I always find this time of year stressful, especially when you have to sort through all of your receipts and paperwork and get them organized.  Thank God it’s over for another year.

Sometimes I feel like I get in a creative rut and one of the ways I use to try and break out of it is to sketch something on a pad of graph paper.  In a weird way, it takes the “pressure” off of me to create something that I think is cool. I have to remind myself that I need to enjoy the journey and not be so overly focused on the results. It’s drawing, not brain surgery. 🙂
