My sincerest thanks to everyone who has supported my cartoon blog this past year and the work I’ve done for Primal Math. I’m really proud of the artwork and animation I’ve created for our first math app for kids “Zombie Fish Bits”! I’m also super excited about the stuff we’ve got coming up in 2015!! Thanks again and I hope you’ve enjoyed my doodles and sketches and I hope to continue with my weird drawings for the year to come! 🙂

Normally I wouldn’t write a post like this, but it does give me a chance to share my video game art and animation with people, and the best part is that it’s FREE!!! This is a math learning app I’ve been working on for the past year, and I’ve created all the art and animation for it. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to download it and check it out. Thanks!
In addition to being a compulsive doodler, I’m an Art Director for a new software start-up, PRIMAL MATH. We make math learning apps for children. We just released our first game, Zombie Fish Bits, into the Apple app store, but because we are small and operating on limited budgets, we’ve started a KICKSTARTER campaign so that we can fund a port our game to Android mobile devices, bringing Zombie Fish Bits to a larger audience of young learners. I’m really proud of our first game and the artwork and animation I created for it, and my art is also being used for the contributor swag! 🙂
This goofy looking character is one of 30 new collectible fish that I’ve created for an update for Primal Math’s iPad game “Zombie Fish Bits”. It’s one of many new updates to our game and it will be available for the iPhone as well. Learn more at http://www.primalmath.com
Here is one of the many new collectible fish we’re adding to the upcoming update of our Zombie Fish Bits game for the Apple iPad and iPhone, and just in time for this year’s Shark Week on the Discovery Channel!! 🙂
I’m very proud to say that for the past 9 months I have been working as the art director for a new software start-up based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our company, Primal Math, is developing math learning apps for kids, and our first game “Zombie Fish Bits” was released for the iPad this past spring. We are currently working on updates for the game and releasing an iPhone version as well. In my role as Art Director, I created all the artwork, characters and animation for the game. You can find our game in the iTunes store and you can find out more about Primal Math at http://www.primalmath.com
I always tell people that even though I’ve been working as a professional artist for almost 20 years, only a small percentage of my work has actually been seen by the public. It seems that a lot of my work has been concept work for game concepts and demos. Here are a couple of characters I conceived for a project called “Quantum Creatures”.
