I’m often asked what kind of supplies I use to draw, and when I think about the question, it seems to imply that good drawing can only come from expensive supplies. The truth is that you can make cool drawings by just using cheap notebook paper, ordinary #2 pencils and plain ballpoint pens. The great thing about drawing is that it is accessible to just about everyone. There’s almost no price barrier to begin drawing! Just pick up a pencil and sheet a paper and go!! This doodle was drawn on a inexpensive pad of graph paper.

This past week I saw a story on the news about a new product called a “Selfie Stick”. It’s a retractable metal rod that you can attach to your smart phone that allows you to hold your smart phone at a distance enabling you to take better selfies. Seriously?!!? So it inspired this little doodle.
