In addition to being a compulsive doodler, I’m an Art Director for a new software start-up, PRIMAL MATH. We make math learning apps for children.  We just released our first game, Zombie Fish Bits, into the Apple app store, but because we are small and operating on limited budgets, we’ve started a KICKSTARTER campaign so that we can fund a port our game to Android mobile devices, bringing Zombie Fish Bits to a larger audience of young learners. I’m really proud of our first game and the artwork and animation I created for it, and my art is also being used for the contributor swag! 🙂

I’m very proud to say that for the past 9 months I have been working as the art director for a new software start-up based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Our company, Primal Math, is developing math learning apps for kids, and our first game “Zombie Fish Bits” was released for the iPad this past spring. We are currently working on updates for the game and releasing an iPhone version as well. When I was working on web-based educational games for kids, I developed a character for a game called “Skidmarks, P.I.”  In addition to be a crackerjack private eye, Skidmarks was also a master of disguise.  Here he is in a few different disguises. The designs were sketched on paper and created in Flash.

In 2011 I created this title screen, along with all the user interface and game graphics for a game called Hover Bugz.   It’s a game I created for SRT Solutions that utilized the XBox Kinect controller to allow children to use their body movement to control a vehicle racing around different tracks.
